Monday League
The MONDAY LEAGUE is scheduled to commence on March 10th.
Matches are to be played on the 2nd Monday of each month, between March and November.
March 10th; April 14th; May 12th; June 9th; July 14th; August 11th; September 8th;
October 13th and November 10th.
General Rules:
1. Games are only to be played on league days, 2nd Monday of each month.
2. Games to be played to normal Petanque rules, first to 13 wins.
3. All matches do not have to be played, matches not played may be penalised.
4. A minimum number of matches must be played to gain a placing in the league.
5. Score card to be filled in and results reported to the officiator as soon as possible after the
event.
6. Matches not recorded by the officiator will be assumed not played.
7. Difference between for and against scores plus 1 point for each win will decide the winner.
So that the score cards can be prepared in time would you let me know whether you wish to play
in the league by the AGM at the latest.
Membership
Our coach called on a new member, "Was that your wife who answered the door?" he asked.
"Of course it was," replied the member. "You don't think I've got an au pair that ugly?"
Membership from January 1st to
December 31st, is only £10.00, whether you play 3
times a week or once a year the cost is the same.
